1. Our commitment
VoiceBond is a live voice conversation service. We do not tolerate child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE) in any form, anywhere on the service. This includes grooming, sextortion, the solicitation of sexual content from or about minors, the sharing of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and any conversation, message, room name, profile, or photo that sexualizes a minor.
These standards apply to every VoiceBond user, every room, every direct message, and every profile. Violating them results in immediate and permanent removal from the service and, where the law requires it, a report to the authorities.
2. Who can use VoiceBond
- You must be at least 13 years old. Sign-up asks for a date of birth and refuses anyone younger, and the server enforces the same rule.
- Every account confirms a real phone number and a real email address before it can join a room.
- Users aged 13 to 15 are never placed in a room where everyone else is an adult. Room matching keeps younger teens with people near their own age.
- Exact locations are never shown. Rooms display only an approximate area.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete it.
3. Prohibited conduct
The following are prohibited and will be acted on immediately:
- Sexual conversation with, or about, anyone under 18
- Asking a minor for photos, personal details, their location, or to move to another app
- Sharing, requesting, or describing child sexual abuse material
- Grooming: building trust with a minor in order to exploit them
- Sextortion or threats of any kind involving a minor
- Misrepresenting your age to reach younger users
Our Community Rules and Terms of Service set out the wider conduct rules that apply to everyone.
4. How to report
Reporting is built into the app and takes a few seconds:
- Inside a room, tap a talker and choose Report.
- In any message conversation, open the menu and choose Report.
- You can also Block anyone from the same places. Blocking is mutual and immediate.
- Rooms can vote to remove a talker who is behaving badly.
You can also email us directly at support@voicebond.app. Put Child safety in the subject line and the report goes to the front of the queue. You do not need an account to report by email.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the United States you can also report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at report.cybertip.org.
5. How reports are handled
- Every report is reviewed by a person. Reports that involve a minor are reviewed first.
- Accounts credibly reported for CSAE are suspended while we review, and removed permanently when the report is confirmed.
- Suspected CSAM and attempts to exploit a minor are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as required by law, together with the information we hold about the account.
- Voice in rooms is live and is not recorded, so we act on the reports, messages, profiles, and account history available to us.
- Other violations follow our escalating sanctions: room bans, temporary suspensions, and permanent removal. Every sanction except a CSAE removal can be appealed inside the app.
6. Compliance
VoiceBond complies with applicable child safety laws, including United States federal requirements to report apparent CSAM to NCMEC, and with the child safety policies of the app stores that distribute the app. We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
